Notice of Curtis Pond Owners Association Town Hall Meeting

To the Membership:

On Friday, June 8th, at 7pm at the Charles Mack Citizens Center in downtown Mooresville, the Curtis Pond Owners Association Board of Directors will be holding a Members Only Town Hall Meeting to decide the issue of pool use for all phases for the summer 2007 season.

All Members are invited to attend in order to consider the following proposals and options and cast their votes.

1. Allowing the residents of Phases 2, 3, and 4 access based on dues paid to date (residents of 234 would be given the option of waiving a dues refund for 2007).

2. Allowing the residents of Phases 2, 3, and 4 access based on a fee as yet to be determined.

3. Annexing a block of Phases 2, 3, and 4, by request, after a vote of the required percentage of the Members of the Association. This would require an amendment to our declaration.

4. Accepting the proposal presented by Magland and Scenic Homes to pay the HOA $22,000.00 to offset our deficit and cover the costs of allowing residents of the other phases to use the pool for the 2007 pool season.

5. Allowing all residents to use the pool at no charge.

6. Denying pool use to anyone other than Members of the Association and their guests.

The majority vote of those Members present will decide the issue. Proxy votes will not be valid for this decision.

Magland and Scenic Homes will be present to propose what they consider a solution to our current budget deficit and the issue of pool usage for all phases for the 2007 season.

Once the vote has been taken the votes will be tallied and the results will be announced.

Please make every effort to join us and let your voice be heard.

Sincerely,
Curtis Pond Owners Association Board of Directors
